My son ran a 5K last Saturday too! And I loved the conversation he shared with me.
“Hey mom, there was an Angel behind me helping me in the race”. Brindsley’s smile was as wide as the front door.
“Oh really! That’s awesome buddy, tell me all about it.”
“I was running behind some adults and I didn’t know how to get around them. I heard someone from behind me say, just squeeze between them and find a gap. It was like she read my mind, it was my Angel mom!”
“Oh yes, Brindsley! Angels are running with us, I’m so glad she helped you.”
My heart is still full from last Saturday’s race and a win of mine for this week. Not only did my children have fun and finish the race, but they witnessed Angels—they are gaining evidence that they are never alone—there is kindness and good all around.

Poem of the Day:
Angels Run Angels run I believe they do I’ve witnessed Some in races It’s true! Always there for others Cheering from behind Or carrying a runner to the finish line. My son ran a 5K He experienced it too! He said he heard an Angel behind him— Coaching him along when he didn’t know what to do— just squeeze between them, find a gap She was there to encourage him too It’s okay— Go, you’re doing great! Brindsley picked up his pace He didn’t wait. She eased his mind His confidence shined And this mother runner was happy to behold that her son got to run with an Angel— He was never alone.
I’m with your Mom, Julie…love this story and the poem!👍💕
This is awesome!! Thanks for sharing! Definite proof angels are with us always!
