Thank you for being here with me,
Julie
she tiptoes to the back door slides on her muddy Altras escapes into the dark her soul exhales. silence stillness— except the cardinal saying her name. she looks to the door a heaviness in her chest tries to drag her back inside. don't you have breakfast to make? laundry to fold? yet her feet hear the whistling tune and obey. trails spill out ahead for miles. she coasts as free as the goldfinch agile, strong along the narrow climb calves burn arms pump heart lifts only the sunrise alone. then pink and gold streak the sky as she turns for home her children open the door smiles, a sweaty hug no matter what. Mom. and their sneakers sit by the door.

Before Anyone Wakes
I hear nature beckoning
"Jules, come play with me"
And in the play, you become the best version of your true Self. Jonathan Livingston Seagull is smiling as you take flight and experience a transcendent oneness with ALL that is. More difficult achieving while doing the laundry but possible nonetheless. Fortunately Jules, you need not choose. You can do both‼️
You are teaching your children how to be free.
