Self-care to unload is one of the lines in today’s poem.
What does that look like for you?
As a wife and mother of two, I must put my self-care as a priority so I can take care of my family. It’s not always easy to do as life happens and things can go sideways. In those moments, I’m pushing courage to ask for help.
I’m grateful for my long runs this weekend and the help I received to get out the door. It allowed me to unload my worry, fear, and anxiety so I could show up for my family the way I wanted to.
What do you have scheduled in this week for self-care? Who may you need to ask for help?
Poem of the Day:
Breathe in Love
Long run Saturday
Morning runaway
Legs charge down the road
Self-care to unload
Empty the thoughts with every stride
God will take them captive your guide
Trust Him in all you do
The spirit lives inside of you
Breathe in love
Exhale fear
Your faith is the anchor
You will make it my dear
