I’m noticing my inner dialogue more these days. I should have…I say it more than I want to. I should be doing yoga more or I should’ve lifted weights today.
I’m noticing that inner dialogue is not helpful for me.
I’m practicing dropping the should and reminding myself why I want to do yoga or why I want to lift weights. Yoga really relaxes me and gives me time to focus on my breath. Lifting weights makes me feel good.
It’s easy to say to ourselves I should be doing this or that…but why do we want to do more of these things.
