Flashback to Boston
In October 2021, I ran the Boston Marathon for the first time. Three months later, Jeff was diagnosed with a recurrence of testicular cancer. I believe that my marathon training and crossing the finish line was preparing me for the challenges my family and I would face next.
Todayโs writing prompt:
Write about a time when you accomplished something you worked hard for. Describe the obstacles you overcame. What specifically kept you going?
Describe how it felt in the moment of successโthe emotions and the thoughts. What did you notice around you? Who shared in your achievement?
Capture that moment when all your effort paid off and you could finally say, โWe did it.โ (Iโve learned it takes more than just me to accomplish a BIG goal)
Youโre invited!
