Happy Friday!
This poem was inspired by a friend who reminded me that everyone has their own pace in life. Some are hares and some are tortoises.
One pace isn’t better than the other.
Go at your pace. There is no right or wrong.
Are you going at your pace or someone else’s?
Poem of the day: LEAN FORWARD 10-mile run High grasses wave Sun beats down Hair in a braid Arms swing Legs push-off the ground Country climbs Peaceful sounds Sweat drips Quad muscles burn I am a strong runner Look, there’s the turn Downhill is now A warm breeze hits my face Lean forward, let go— I smile Take life at my pace.
Haha all day I walk at a 3 year old pace with my little ones. Thank God for lunchtime when I can stretch my legs and go at my own pace!!
This is delightful! I could do with remembering that it's okay to go at my own pace - thanks for the prompt! :D
