Our Winter Light series is going strong, and I'm so grateful to gather in person to move and write. I can’t thank you enough for giving this idea a chance. When I started this group in 2023, I wasn’t sure if anyone, besides my mom, would join me.
I’m grateful you’ve discovered what I’ve discovered. That moving outdoors, writing with a pen, and sharing our words (all fiction by the way, unless the writer says otherwise) give us courage and the will to keep going.
Thank you,
Julie
Faces of Light a path of glitter— countless tiny mirrors shine all faces of light. pen paces across the page, creating stories wonders to witness.
A quick reminder, we will meet next Monday (2/16) on Zoom to write together. I will post the link at the bottom of Monday’s post (it is the same each week). I hope you can join us sometime.
Thank you for sharing your inbox with me,
Julie

Jules, your hypothesis is proving to be correct. You have created your "tribe within your tribe". Kudos‼️❤️‼️
A rich post, Julie B. Hughes! I may have mentioned that next Monday, 2/16 @ 9:00, I have an appointment with a neurologist to assess my brain functioning. Beth’s thinking Alzheimer’s or dementia may be setting in. This has been a family condition for her, so she’s being cautious.
If the appointment is straightforward, I should be home in plenty of time to Run To Write! Years ago, an MRI of my head identified “micro-vascular ischemic changes.” The examiner regarded the result as representative of someone my age and suggested the result could be used as a benchmark for future examinations.
We’ll see where my brain goes from here, Julie B.
