I like having a rhythm for the day. Rise at 4:45 am. Get outside for a run or walk then write three pages in my notebook with a cup of coffee.
Some days it doesn’t happen. Life can get messy and seasons change.
Did I lose my rhythm?
No. The rhythm is there to come back to at anytime—start again.
Tell me what’s your rhythm for the day?
RUN RHYTHM Run rhythm 5 am No run through I know the drill Morning ritual My free will Daily practice Regular routine Yet awareness— Nothing is fixed In my morning scene Sky a new Dew on the ground Birdsongs change With each bound Crescent moon— Silver light Fills my cup Brings me joy this morning Keep showing up!
Are your 3 pages based on The Artist's Way, i.e. morning pages?
Need my rhythm too. Yes we can get back to it if it gets interrupted by life!
Pastor Stephenson told me many years ago , and I believe it's true, that our ministry is in the interruptions .
