Run—To Awaken I feel— asleep. Blah. A run with Zephyr my four-legged gentle friend, is essential. I step into the house, his soft eyes stare at mine. I clip on his leash. His mouth opens with excitement as if to say— “ready, let’s go!” He takes off— a mad dash down the road. His husky instincts take over and I’m alive. I grip tight to the leash as he pulls me ahead. Does he think I’m a sled? My feet charge to catch up. My body leans forward like I’m ready to take flight. My heart soars with appreciation. I grin— Run to awaken.
