           We Run Because...

We run because we get to and
the choice is ours. 

We run for those who can’t. We 
feel blessed no matter the run 

We run because it brings us
aha moments! 

We run to fight complicity, to break 
out of our routines and move past 
the mundane or normal.

We run because we can’t wait
to explore on foot. 

We walk or run to fight Arthur (itis).

We run because we notice 
Our breath, our legs, our heart.  

We run because we're born to move.

We run because it brings
awareness of our thoughts.

Because it brings health to 
my body and healing to my soul.

We run because we need 
a break from the noise.

We run because moving our bodies 
is the dance of life...

We run because our children
are watching.  

To listen to the birds and 
feel the wind on our face.

Because we said we 
would— we show up. 

We shall rather run towards 
than away from life.

We run because the outdoors 
is where we belong. 

Because we love it.
