I’ve enjoyed a few runs these last two weeks on the trails—mulch covering some parts was a gift. My son joined me. He dashed ahead yelling behind him—this trail is awesome—I can go so fast.
He raced around the corners up and down the hills. When he looked back and didn’t see me he turned around with a smile on his face barely out of breath—ready to lead the way again.
His energy was palpable—carefree and full of joy. My heart was full.
Tell me what feelings or thoughts come up when you are out on the trail?
