Today is Thanksgiving in the States, and I wanted to take a moment to pause and thank you for being here with me. I can’t thank you enough for reading, sharing, and commenting each Monday and Thursday. We have a great community. May this poem be a gift from me to you. Keep moving and writing.

Happy Thanksgiving
run to write crew—
I’m deeply grateful
for each of you

Thankful for community
to move and write
in every season
a practice held tight

Resistance will greet us
just about every day,
but you show up brave—
that’s all I can say

Through all the highs and lows,
when steps feel slow,
gratitude’s the fuel
that helps us go

We’re lights across the world
yet one thing’s clear
our stories connect us—
a gift I hold dear
