We listen because it makes
for better conversation

We listen because there is
something to learn. 

We listen because we are interested
in other people. 
 
We listen because we don’t know 
We listen to better understand.  

We listen because we need
balance. 

We listen— 
to stay out of the weeds. 

We listen to make space for conversation
We listen out of respect for our community

We listen because we want 
to pay attention. 

We listen because the one sharing her thoughts needs us to.
We listen because we care.
