What books are you reading for delight?
Read-Aloud
My children and I just finished, The Trumpet of the Swan by E.B. White. What a fantastic and hilarious story. It left me with stitches in my side from laughing so hard.
It left me feeling more alive.
I think my children felt the same way. What a joy to be able to read. What a delight to read out loud to others.

Speaking of delight…it was wonderful to write with Rebecca, Holly, and Amie on Friday. It made my day.
As we were writing the doorbell rang and an enormous box sat outside my door…BOOKS! Staring Down a Dream: A Mom, a Marathoner, a Mission was delivered. Woohoo!

Well, I'm reading a fabulous newly-published book called 'Staring Down a Dream' by the remarkable writer Julie B Hughes. I'm about to start Chapter 14 (one day to go to the marathon!!!!!!!), and what I found this morning at the top of page 109, captioned 'Waving to my family!' - had me reaching for the tissues.
It is SUCH a delight - in fact, it's the delightEST!
