Run to Discern Last long run of twenty-twenty-three— How can this be? I wanted the rain to turn to snow Where did the year go? A heaviness Filled my heart— Okay, let’s shift and restart. I hear the swoosh of the streams What are my dreams? Let’s share our hopes and aspirations— Letting go of others' expectations Release your hurt with someone you can trust I believe that’s a must Nature offers us room to notice and learn I seek to discern I appreciate this with each stride Grateful the Lord is my guide I pray for kindness and truth to prevail Dignity in the details In twenty-twenty-four May you find joy, Peace, and laughter Courage to restore
Happy New Year to you and yours!

2023? I’ve misplaced it I’m sure. It was here just yesterday. Perhaps those loud sounds around midnight were from 2024 rolling over the remains of ‘23?
I’ll choose to leave that mystery lie. Go out with my dog under a blue sky! Living in the present in ‘24 is what I want to do more.
All the best to you today and every day!
Happy New Year Julie!
What brilliant smiles to outshine the rain. ☀️
