I invite you to grab your journal and pen to start your day. Set your timer for 10 minutes and if you choose use the writing prompt below.
What will I do if I feel anxious, stressed, or worried today?
For example, in my journal I wrote a few tools and strategies that help me: pause and breathe for a few minutes, step outside and get some fresh air, go for a walk, do a thought download (write out my thoughts, empty them out on paper), listen to music, pray. Repeat this thought to myself: I can handle any emotion that comes up.
I wrote down a few more things but you get the idea. I find this helpful to do at the start of my day and maybe you will too.
