SNEAKERS Sneakers and me Run through the trees Quiet roads, uphill and down Bound through the Manlius town Pavement or gravel On foot the way to travel Trails with narrow paths Country roads— look calves! Jump in puddles, hurdle over mud Balance on a log— Oh what fun! Sneakers and me So much to see Places to explore Joy finds me out the door We are seekers Anchored in sneakers
