          Lead Us 

Here we are  
Greeted with silence 
Hemlock trees lead us to the trail. 

Here we are 
Pine scent in the air 
Unforgettable breaths of joy.
 
Here we are 
Eyes turned toward the lake 
Dawdle at a baby snapper.
  
Here we are  
Moved by the water   
Permission to stop and listen.
 
Here we are
Immersed in nature
Why would we take it for granted?

Tomorrow, August 6 from 6:30-8:30 pm: Join us for a unique collaborative event hosted by Run to Write and Thekchen Choling Syracuse. This special evening combines mindfulness practices with creative writing, offering participants a holistic experience to enhance their well-being and creativity.

August 10: The Michael French Memorial Meals on Wheels of Western Broome 5K Run/Walk. Let’s move together! I will have a table at this event to sign and sell books. Delaney has made bracelets to share as well.

August 14th: This is the next free summer session of Run to Write. We begin promptly at 9:30 am. We meet at Freedom of Espresso in Liverpool, NY. Check out the event page here for more details.

August 18: Local Author Showcase at Clay Historical Association Open House on Sunday, from 1-3 pm. A wide variety of books will be available for purchase.
