a jet black sky—
Yawn then smile. 
Shrill laughter of the 
Katydids
Encourages me
It’s not that early
I say.  

Brisk walk to run  
Warm breeze to catch
Legs & arms propel downhill
Wild—with the dawn chorus
My friends— 
Another day to 
Play.
