They said writing a book will change you…It’s true. Writing my book has changed me. Drip by drip, I notice the change.
The biggest change- I’ve let go of the outdated story I believed for a long time. The old story of I’m not good enough. I have nothing to share or to offer and I need to hide. I’ve let that story go and publishing my book allowed this change for me.
I believe I’m touching lives with my story. It’s getting into the hands who need it all because I showed up every day to write. That’s the story that serves me.
Is there an outdated story that you may need to let go of in 2022?
Poem of the day:
Friends: A Ghazal Poem
Life will bring us trouble grateful for friends
By your side during the hard times your friends
Just when you want to give up reach out friends
It’s okay to not be okay roar, friends
A run, walk, or cup of coffee love friends
Pick up where you left off there’s no score friends
Encourage and cheer you on awesome friends
Don’t judge or attack want you to soar friends
Love you for you and keep you going friends
I smile, buddies for life adore friends
