for the shout-out to join us on Fridays! I recommend checking out her writing adventures!I love to run but I’m not a fan of the treadmill. How about you?
I will take the snow and cold any day. I’m grateful the roads have been safe enough to do so. Thank you Felicia for running with me on Saturday!
What do you enjoy most about running or walking in the winter? Please share in the comments below.
Yes, Please. Running in winter is how we roll. Layers, hats, and mittens to keep us on the go. Snowflakes fall as we charge up the hill. Three deer cross our path then the roads are still. Winter blanket thick under our feet. Footprints to spot Someone ahead to greet. Golden shine peeks through the trees. Winter running— Yes, please.
Today we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.
May we all strive to love one another and work to be a peacemaker.
Have you tried the Curve treadmill? It’s an incredible workout and while I much prefer hitting the trails outdoors, today it’s pouring rain here in Phoenix so off I go.
See you Friday! I thank Rebecca Holden for sharing you with us, too!
I totally agree Rebecca, it's amazing how many people are out running a walking on a cold winter day. Last Saturday while running at a state park we have close to home here, there were so many trail runners, hikers and wonderful friendly dogs with their owners all ready to say hello, or a short chat over a water break. On a treadmill at the gym, everyone is focused on the workout with headphones on. I'll do a treadmill workout, only because it's not safe to be outside due to thunderstorms or fires. Thank you for the great poem Julie!
