        Magic Wand

A magic wand— 
black ink flows out.
A trick I crave as it 
waves over the page. 

I take it anywhere. 

Place it in my pocket or 
tuck behind my ear— 
no matter, the wand 
is dear. 
Light in my hand, 
freedom to grow.
The only spell I know—

Let go. 

I use it daily— 
a simple swish
when things get hairy.
