Red, orange, golden trail unfolds before our feet Crisp, crunch, rustle is music to our ears. A chipmunk dashes up a log— We see you. Leaves pirouette take a bow to the ground We hear you. Cars rush by in the distance We imagine it’s the sea— Waves cover us like a warm blanket We are secure.
