Today’s words and photo from that 5K fill my heart to overflowing. #115 looks like a chip off the old block! (I realize you are neither old nor a block of any sort.) All the details of that run fit together like magic! Those in attendance. Accommodating weather. Determined runners. Family. Networks of friends. I see a tiny version of the photo tucked into a locket of love. Kept in the warmth of your heart.
Yay for 5k! I remember your post about this race - it was fabulous to read all about Delaney's first five, as it is here, too! And 'one foot in front of the other' are words which serve us well in everything we do.
Julie, Please pass the Kleenex for all our joyful tears. As I say on only the very best of occasions: “It doesn’t get any better than this”. Thank you for choosing “life” and all that implies as you & your family say “YES” to every challenge you meet. We seldom know the Angels that may walk amongst us day in and day out. Thanks for divulging and a big hug to Jeff, the Angel who is showing us what “Choosing Life” really means. Beautiful writing Jules. It doesn’t get better than this!!!
Yes, I'll be right over with the box of Kleenex...I hear you. I still tear up even though I've read this several times now (for editing purposes). Thank you for your kindness and care. I'm so grateful for the support we had then and now.
Friends and many family supporting each other. Super blessed.
Recognizing the blessing. Precious!
Yes, we are truly blessed to have so much support even in the uncomfortable moments of life. Thank you Claudette. xoxo

Thank you so much Gary for reading and your message here. Delaney had me smiling and laughing the entire 3.1 miles. A memory I will cherish.
That type of sweet, treasured memory are ones I often link to in my brain using music. My “sentimental jukebox.”
This is awesome that your children ran with you! Love you all so much! xoxoxo
Thank you Faith! I was so happy we all came together that day. Love you. xoxo

Good morning Clark,
Yes, I'll be right over with the box of Kleenex...I hear you. I still tear up even though I've read this several times now (for editing purposes). Thank you for your kindness and care. I'm so grateful for the support we had then and now.
Such a powerful way to help others, too.
Thank you Nancy. We were so blessed to have so many friends and family gather and show up for us. Thank you for reading.
