I understand a doctor is to do everything in their power to sustain life. What a blessing that Jeff is now the one who has been sustained. Most humans take the miracle of life for granted all our lives. It is rare for someone to contemplate “existence” at all. That very thought astonishes me. I know it will forever astonish both you & Jeff. Amen.
Beautiful haiku Clark. Thank you again for your words of wisdom. We truly learned so many lessons during that time and continue to. Forever student. :) YIPEE! Thank you so much for being here with us.
Hurrah! To both Jeff and you for staying the course. The tone of today’s post delights me, as it reflects such a different tone from the days of the recurrence and treatment you all navigated. All the very best to you and your family.
Thank you so much Gary! I appreciate you being here and your kind messages each weekday. I hope you, Beth, and Izzie are doing well. The weather is calmer these days? Enjoy your walks. Also. while I'm thinking of it. I will be out of town Friday so will not have the Zoom room open for the write together. I will be back next Friday and hope to see you then.
This post means so much to me right now, more than you know. I am so happy for all of you. It's like an endless race. Some are getting their finisher medals as others are just toeing the line. The wisdom you share is immeasurable.
I'm happy to know this post was helpful for you today. I resonate with what you wrote here..."Some are getting their finisher medals as others are just toeing the line." Hugs to you Linda! I hope to catch you for writing next week. I won't be able to host for Friday's write together so the Zoom room won't be open at 11 am. Just FYI
Yes! A second chance!
A butterfly emerges
Now it’s time to fly…
