I don't know if that is true but what else can motivate someone to do the near impossible in an age when courage to do the extraordinary is seldom observed. Jules you inspire all of us who want to move to the beat of our own drum and swim upstream when the cultural current is rapidly moving downstream. May you continue to listen to your Soul and inspire us all.
Good morning Clark, what a beautiful message to read this morning. Thank you. I will keep listening and sharing in hopes we all swim upstream together.
Oh wow, Nicole was exactly who you needed right when you needed her. What a beautiful human being looking after another beautiful human being. This is what EVERYTHING is all about.
*happy sigh*
And yes, goose pimples!!! 🤣
Julie, you're an inspiration in all kinds of ways. Thank you for you. xxx
Wonderful, all wonderful! And of course, that’s totally fine!
I really enjoy your writing! As usual I’m behind on my reading (grrrrrrr!) but looking forward to catching up over the weekend! Went for a walk today with Jim at the beach for the first time in ages. Thought of you, actually. I smiled lots. AND bumped into my parents, who had had exactly the same idea as us - to pick up a coffee and sit in the sunshine! I’m using a stick at the moment and d’you know what, it’s giving me such confidence and means I have stopped STOPPING! Ha! I feel like I’ve ‘beaten the system’ and I’m really winning! 🤣 Tis only temporary, and it’s totally, totally fine.
And writing THAT has made me smile, too. AGAIN! xxx
The restoration, revival and normalcy become easier when the facilitators are friendly, candid and accessible. It has happened in my case too on more than one occasion. I seek to reiterate that you are a guiding force and will stay one to me. What a magnificent ending to mark another splendid beginning, Julie...
Thank you, Mom. I have more to write but lots of edits. LOL! My goal is a book of the entire story. :) Thanks again for staying with Brindsley and Delaney...it meant a lot to me though I know you all would have loved to be there.
“Thank goodness I like bananas.” Hahaha 🍌 Yes. I’m so glad you had that guardian angel to care for you.
You carried the names and hearts of so many with you. Thank you for this story. I looked forward to reading each passage. Congratulations on this awesome achievement. 🙏🏻
Good morning Linda! Thank you so much for your support, encouragement, and thinking of me as I toed the line. You're a wonderful friend and long-distance run buddy.
Cheers to the Banana! Grateful it was that simple.
"I’ll help you change. You’re going to be okay. We won’t leave you until you feel better.”. Julie, this is the best way for me to start my day, a reminder of the Holy Trinity and the power, compassion and love that comes with that, through the people around us. Your story is SO good. Congrats on your finish, on relying on the kindness of strangers, of feeling your strength come back, and noticing the pins and needles fading into the background, then joining the other finishers in triumph. ❤️
Thank you so much Mary B for reading along and this message. I'm so happy it was a reminder to start your day on the right foot. :) I was so grateful for the amazing medical staff, of course, I was there longer than I wanted to be but so thankful everything turned out fine.
What I loved the best
Your Soul called you to run "this"
And you responded...

This. All of this. I can’t say it better.
