Terrific words, and the pictures are great - how lovely to see everyone photographed in action both in real life and on Zoom!
I cherish my Friday afternoon (UK time!) writing hour in the company of everyone else in RWC - and if I lived anywhere near Liverpool, NY, I'd be there tooooooo!
What a marvelous twist! My hands do listen and they pour out words as yours do. It's not often I wish I lived up north, but reading your posts always makes me long for that kind of community. What a special bond you've built through your generosity and your writing!
Hi Julie 🐝 ! I love that your poem today sums up “how, what, and why” we write. “Hands listen.” And sometimes hold coffee cups and writing instruments.
An observation: in the arc showing your group of en vivo writers, every face wears a warm smile. In part a reflection of community? Here’s a guess: the other woman in the yellow T-shirt is your running, training, racing buddy? I’m sorry I’ve forgotten her name. You’ve shown photos in other posts that bear a strong resemblance to this woman.
I’m looking forward to our next Friday gathering - in community silence. A perfect descriptor. All the best today.
We are having so much fun because we are connecting by gathering together to walk, run and write. Thank you Julie for creating this group. It’s the thing I look forward to every Monday.
