Contagious! I love it! ❤️ That's so true.

I love how even just a smile can turn things around.

Isn't that the truth...a simple smile.

Thank you Claudette.

Good morning Julie B.! I have a question regarding the mechanics. With engagement over Zoom, are participants muted and simply seen biting the eraser on their #2 Ticonderoga? Maybe pacing the floor or orbiting their chair??

I watched Dr. Ed Brenegar yesterday say that writer’s block is not a thing. This morning’s meet up should offer a chance to test that notion.

The nine-image thumbnail of smiling faces looks like a welcome mat! I’ll remove shoes before entering...

Yes! Yes!! We are so delighted you will join us. We do quick intros voice or in the chat, then mute ourselves. I offer a writing prompt in the chat to get going.

I've found the best thing to do is just write and not come with an expectation of what you will write. For me that's when I get stuck. I just write out whatever...sometimes that's starting with my morning run, what I saw or heard or my breakfast. :)

It then takes me eventually to the good stuff...like A REAL BALLBUSTER that I'm editing. :) HA

You have stories upon stories..you've shared them here...come test that notion.

Increibly sorry all! Certain I've installed Zoom on both phone & laptop but nowhere to be found. As I scrambled to activate Zoom on my phone, I inadvertently enlarged my phone screen. Now I can't power off in an attempt to go back to square 1. Work ahead.

Oh bummer, Gary. I'm so sorry things got off course. I hope it's getting worked out. Next Friday? Please come. :)

Thanks, Julie. The turn of events was a real not joy! I think a visit to Best Buy is my only course of action. The generation of my phone almost matches my age! I had hoped I could avoid all the hiccups with the 15 Pro Max and wait for the 16 this fall. For now I'm hopeful I'll be able to take a seat in the Zoom Room. I'm sorry this time was not a success.

Oh my goodness Gary, I do hope you got it all sorted out. We will save you a seat any Friday you can come. :)

Great! (The saving a seat part. 😉) The Geek Squad performed some magic and I’m back in phone/lap top operation again. Such occurrences keep me right sized. In a way, the activity you described of providing a topic and turning us loose resembled the “trust building” workshops of a few years ago. Each participant, wearing a blindfold, agreed to trust and lean all the way backwards to be caught by waiting arms. While trust was the goal, trauma also resulted from the experience. Are there Zoom settings for strong, virtual arms?

Thanks as always for your encouragement. And Running!

So I promise to not lean back too far in the virtual studio gathering next Friday.
