Didn't get a chance to leave a note. Was busy this morning, had to pick up a prescription at Walmart. David is still getting treatments for his eye. It is coming along. I think the trees whisper to me when I am outside. Love being outside when I don't freeze! :)

It's funny I always loved the named Julia...and mine is with an 'e' instead of an 'a' but I can pretend. :)

Thank you Clark. I love this line by Julia Cameron in her book The Artist's Way:

Good morning Julie, Thanks for providing a boost to be active, present in our days! I wondered as I read about the “writing” that results from your running. I envisioned you wearing a headset, maybe just the microphone, that places the mike just in front of your mouth. Ready to receive. Your words and thoughts. Side notes?

Footfalls might add a certain rhythm but I feel certain you’re not a wheezing 🏃‍♀️. I’d likely lose some of my most compelling thoughts during a run and find them inaccessible once seated to write.

Trade secret? I won’t tell a soul. Have a wonderful day!

Thank you for the laugh Gary! :) What a sight to be running with a headset...a great idea to record my thoughts and ideas though. I would gladly try it.

In the Spring and Summer months I carry an index card and pen in my running vest to jot down my thoughts or poems so I don't forget. I will say many times I do forget even when I rush home to quickly empty them on the page. Many times I will repeat certain thoughts over and over until I get to the page. A pen and notebook is always in the car for these moments.

Thank you Gary! Have a fabulous day! Did the storm pass? You and yours safe?

The storm? The windy, lightning sky- etching part has subsided. Continued efforts to protect ornamental plants in our yard from freezing is ongoing. Normally we use “Frost Cloth” to protect them infrequently. When that fabric becomes wet it loses its protective value. Solution? A layer of thin plastic to ward off the rain. If conditions turn warm and sunny, the “raincoat” has to come off to avoid baking the plants!

I feel a little like a juggler on the Ed Sullivan shows of long ago. An era when becoming a juggler provided a career path.

Thanks for responding to my question about hanging on to ideas... while running.

Happy to hear the lightning and wind has subsided. I can imagine this being a juggling act to care for your plants depending on the weather. Great ideas! I've never thought of the using a think plastic layer like a "raincoat" brilliant.
