My dad was a WWII veteran and a POW too! So thankful he made it home with the help of some Italian families. He taught me a lot and I will always remember him. My brother was a Vietnam veteran also. Have always been thankful for all of our veterans!!

Amen Julia and blessings & eternal gratitude to all who have served, suffered and gave their lives so we and our descendants might live in a more peaceful world...I wonder if the world eternally set aside a day each month to remember the impossible pain of war so that its constant reminder just might begin to move the minute hand of the “doomsday” clock backwards... A day in which each family sincerely and fervently prayed that their children would never have to die on the battlefield....
