Awwww, so much love ❤️!

And so much courage displayed in this one act...from each one of you!

It takes even more courage to write this all down, but what a treasure!

Thank you!

Thank you Claudette for reading and sharing what you took from this piece— very helpful. Yes, I need courage as I sit down to write and revisit it all but I've learned writing is healing. Onward!

Thank you Gary for reading. During this time I was inspired by the book Fight Back with Joy by Margaret Feinberg. I figured if she can find joy going through her own cancer journey I sure can find it for my family as a caregiver. It was an inspiring read.

Very relatable. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer 10 ya, had a double mastectomy with reconstruction, and I wore the home health aid hat. I would not have had that any other way (my role). I see such behavior as acts to strengthen and sustain connection. Acts of love. Sometimes love is not for the squeamish.
