Oh Julie! Although I've read the book more than once - and I LOVE IT!!!! - this post today has brought tears to my eyes! Just wonderful. You're an inspiration to so many of us.
Jules, you have shown that once āyouāhave done the one āimpossibleā thing everything becomes possible. The second photo says it ALL. God Bless.
Your perseverance is inspiring, and your words have been such an encouragement to meāespecially those penned in A Real Ballbuster and My Road. I was just journaling this morning about how particular snippets from your books have helped me. Donāt stop sharing your words with the world!
Oh wow. This piece brought back memories of my brother's race and being there to cheer him on, less than a month after my dad passed away. Each runner has a story of their struggle to get to Boston and finish -- two distinct and often harrowing experiences. I teared up reading this wonderful post by @juliebhughes and felt myself ready to lose my voice cheering her, my brother and everyone else all over again. It's an incredible annual event and this captures it beautifully. Bravo!
Love this post; it brought tears to my eyes. I can imagine your finish of Boston - I've been at the finish line many times, cheering on my brother. It's a rush, isn't it? The helicopter above the lead runners for men's and women's, the energy surge, the endorphins. Thank you for sharing your story. I've been reading in the "shadows" until this morning and had to comment. "God is with us" indeed.
This brought tears to my eyes- but Iām a sucker for a happy ending!
