So much fun to be on the receiving end of this artistic and poetic magic and ping pong it back with my morning haiku. Run to Write and it’s growing community opens my heart a bit wider each day. Thank You Jules for being “kindness in action”. And one day, very, very far from now, you will look back on the tapestry of your life work and know that kindness was your special thread that made it all possible. You make us all realize what truly matters. Thank You Julie❗️
What a great sense of community in this post! (What’s a couple tongue twisters among friends?)
My pen palling goes back many decades. In this undertaking now, are letters handwritten? I’ve had a few too many lessons for “How to write like a doctor.” I can block letter legibly enough. And tappy-tap a keyboard.
Please add me to your list:

Good morning Gary! I'm thrilled you want to you the phenomenal pen pals here at Run to Write. Woohoo. I'll be in touch at the end of the week with yours. Thank you for your faithful reading and engagement in this community.
Birds are so cool! I appreciate them more and more each year.
Hard to imagine how Julie gets it all done, day in and day out but so grateful for her daily poetic presence. Way better than my cup of coffee. Actually, responding with my haikus has replaced my morning caffeine ritual and I am sleeping better at night. Another bonus…lol.
I'm so glad I sent you a puffin that delivered color, cheer, and sweetness.
I am having so much fun creating and sharing watercolored postcards... an idea gifted by my friend Sharon... who sent me one a couple of months ago.
Thank you for sharing not only the card, but also Wandering Words with your readers. You can't go wrong when you create with love. ❤️
I appreciate, "kindness takes action". I've been remembering a Marcus Aurelius quote recently with all of the memes and advice to Be Kind -- Be Grateful.
He said: Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.
I used to be an advice monster... thinking I knew what others should do or be. Then through a variety of influences, I learned to turn my gaze inward instead. That's when the real magic started to happen.
Thank you Julie! I AM grateful for all of the dots that connected me to you.
It takes flight with Gail
Jules adds her gift and hits send
Kindness spreads and grows…

Tear jerker this morning, Clark. Happy to keep the ping pong moving back and forth within this community.
What a beautiful and kind message to receive this morning and with a lovely haiku to enjoy.
You made my day, Clark! Have a phenomenal day!
Just happy tears Jules❗️
Yes, happy happy tears. :)
What a lovely recognition Clark. I agree!

Such a fan of penguins and of your verse, Julie! I like Gail's message, "Kindness takes action."
Thank you Ruth for reading and your message. I've been enjoying Gail's drawings and words, uplifting messages to my day. :)

HI Gail,
Oh my dog! This made me laugh. :)
Thank you so much for your message...a humbling one I might add. Marcus Aurelius has so many wise quotes and this one you share is powerful.
Cheers to putting this quote into action all over the world.
Thank you again Gail, the postcards have been a fun activity here as well. :)
If the Henrietta fits… 🤷♀️🤭
LOVE IT! :)
