I’m currently reading— this one wild and precious life by
. I love a piece in her book where she invites us to ask others—How is your heart instead of how are you?How is the state of your heart, in this breath?

Take Heart The state of my heart— how is it? I sit down to write. My thoughts beat down to my chest. Do I have what it takes? Will I stand firm? Fear, worry, anxiety race along 60,000 miles of blood vessels. My pen dashes across the page to keep up. My way to guard my heart in this breath. My source of joy, gratitude, peace, life.
Thank you, Beth, Sharon, Rebecca, and Linda. It was beautiful to see your faces and write together. It was nice to ask you— How is the state of your heart, in this breath?

60,000 miles of blood vessels - wow! Such a great poem - thanks, Julie! And what a fabulous prompt that line was on Friday - I really enjoyed the Write Along session.
Oh, and I loved seeing that glimpse of your monthly planner in your picture! Planning is everything! 🥳
A feel that way EVERY TIME I write. But, I don't use a Pen.
