It depends on how spiritually sound and centered I am: the less sound, the more stressful change can be. All in all, I'm pretty calm with change and have learned to not project what might happen. My husband taught me this: "You can't be where you're not, so imagining what it might be like is futile. You're not "there", you're here, and you know how to deal with the present".
Wow, you mean I get to enjoy the writing highlight of my week at the start of the week rather than the end?! I'd love it whenever it happens, of course, but gosh, what a wonderful way to start the week - by writing in fabulous company on a Monday! How lovely. 🥰
As far as change 'in general' is concerned, it can be daunting, can't it? But it offers so much opportunity to explore things in a different way - or different things altogether - and there's a great deal of fabulousness that can happen when change is applied, whatever the context.
Thank you, you too! Truth be told, it's waaaay past my bedtime (it's 10.20pm) but I've been having a really nice (and long-overdue!) catch-up on my Substack reading and have resisted the temptation to stop - LOL!!!!!
Change is constant and always with us. I forget sometimes and then feel anxiety a bit when it reminds me its there again. Having good friends can be helpful as long as they are not the friends of Job. But if you happen to be alone when wagers and tests are being seemingly made about your life; the only choice you have is maybe your attitude towards it.
I love that quote you end with. It reminded me of something my pastor said: "You don't get the life yiu deserve. You get the life you decide." May we always decide for bravery and goodness.

Thank you so much for this message Mary B. and tell your husband thank you.
I like to consider myself as one who embraces change....and then I have to laugh at myself!
I love this Kym! Thank you for sharing.
Change isn't always bad. But it isn't always good either. We know bad things do happen. That's why we fear.
Yet God says do not fear. He says it 365 times in His Word. What I do know, is that He never leaves us!
Thank you Claudette. I find sometimes even good change is hard. Yet I know I'm not alone.

Change is our birthright
Yes, we constantly evolve
Accept that and thrive‼️
Thank you for the encouragement Clark! Some change I'm totally cool with...others...it takes a little more courage.
Yes Jules, we are all in this together and maybe that's the best way to grow...together ‼️
Together for sure! Thank you Clark.
