Wow, just wow! Trail running is fabulous, but there's no way I could do 50 miles! You're awesome - I can't wait to read more about the JFK 50!

Woohoo! Looks dashing on you!

JFK is such a venerable race. I'd love to run it someday, the combination of trail and footpath is such an intriguing blend to prep for!

What a great photo Julie B! Smiles and pearly whites… the dentists will be calling to feature you three in an advert. The tone of today’s offering is inspiring. I’ll wager “Into the woods we go” differs from Thoreau’s “Walden: Why I Went To The Woods.” Your embrace of the woods, training for the JFK 50 Miler, has community, connection, and physical/mental vitality written all over it. Thoreau’s retreat to the woods suggests isolation, austerity, and grousing about the ways of the world. While HDT achieved literary acclaim for his writings, your goals demonstrate the commitment and discipline to compete in the JFK 50.

Your race preparation and running long distances sets an example that’s readily applicable to living our lives. Good luck as you address this new goal and in all your daily doings. 🐝

Good morning Clark, Thank you so much for the book recommendation. YAY! I was wondering if there was someone who wrote a book about it. I'm so happy to know and will get that this week. :)

You bet...Onward!
