Good morning Clark, another kind and beautiful Haiku. Thank you. I'm so happy to know you and hope we can meet soon on your travels. :) How was Sharon's birthday?
S’s b’day was terrific!!! Thanks for asking. If nothing disrupts our plans, looking forward to meeting you & your precious family in Syracuse mid-May. Have a wonderful Wednesday Jules.
While I’m delighted to hear you speak of the positive reviews for your new book “A Real Ballbuster: Untangling Testicular Cancer Together,” I’m not surprised. As with all the other tasks on your to-do list it was easy to see that you put heart and soul into your new book! Congratulations, Julie.
What strikes me most while reading A Real Ballbuster is your willingness to reveal (with honesty!) all of the thoughts swirling in your head. When we hear and dissect the impulses and chatter, we’re empowered to choose our next step. You are teaching others how to be present for life through your stories. Thank you for all of your work — seen, and unseen.
Good morning Gail. Thank you for this beautiful Haiku this morning and your words. I do hope it teaches or guides others to consider their thoughts especially in challenging times. I recognize it's not an easy task yet like you said "we're empowered to choose out next step" What a gift.
When I learned of Princess Katherine’s cancer, I immediately thought of Prince William and their three children. And your book, from which even Royals could benefit. I realize all the business of “being” a royal is carefully scripted. It’s for that very reason the humanity and connection modeled in your book could be of value. Pooh-poohing the work of a “commoner” may not serve their needs all that well. Lastly, you are waaay overqualified to be a commoner. ;-)
My heart aches for what they are facing. It's not easy and with 3 young children I want to hug them all. Gary, you are very kind. I'm just an ordinary person but you have me thinking...I wonder if I could send them a book?
You know far better than I that when we suppose something is impossible, it is! Before sharing my thoughts with you, I envisioned an employee of the palace converting your book to CliffNote form. On a more hopeful note, that employee might instead send a message up the ladder saying, “This would be well worth your time, Your Royal Highness.” I can also imagine you knowing someone with a British accent that would give an audio recording just the right appeal?! A supplemental video of your children celebrating Jeff’s progress could win hearts and minds. I’m wondering about an ideal person to assume your role (from your book) were this to grow legs? A nanny? How about Anne, Princess Royal, the king’s only sister?
This feels like an Agatha Christie novel. My apology for lobbing one distraction after another onto your day.
Gary! You are amazing and what ideas...the possibilities are endless aren't they. I'm taking notes. :) LOL My sister lives in England and just became a citizen. My wheels are turning. And speaking of Agatha Christie, Jeff and I are going to the local show: Murder on the Orient tomorrow night at Syracuse Stage. I cant' wait.
You grace everyone

Oh great to hear! Yes we look forward to meeting you both if it works. Thank you Clark, I wish the same for you today.

One of my mentors calls it non-teaching. 🤭
HA! I like that.
This is an exciting time now that the book will be released. Your willingness to let people into your space is heartwarming.❤️
Thank you Mom. Thank you for being here with us.

There is truly power in intention.
Thank you for the nudge Gary. :)
