I like when you read your own poem. Makes it so much clearer than when I try to read and put emphasis on different words. Thank you. ❤️🙏 This one is full of courage.

Thank you so much Mom. It takes courage every Thursday to read aloud but It's getting easier. :) Love you.

Just listened. You have a very pleasant voice. Ever consider creating a podcast interviewing “poets”?

I have not but will think on this. Thank you so much for the compliment. One project on my list is to do an audiobook of Staring Down a Dream. The more folks I talk to the more they mention listening to books over reading a hard copy. Luckily I have a friend who is doing this now and sharing what she is learning.

Not quite a Haiku. Foggy mind this morning. But loved your writing. Reminds me of the book by Steven Pressfield, “The War of Art”.

Great poem, Clark. Even with a foggy mind you keep going! That book I've started and stoped over the years....this is the year I finish it. HA!

Although you jest, you are who you are and given your deep religious beliefs, who you are is “perfect” Jules. Try that on and run with it, write with it and most importantly trust it and live with it. Yes, you were created in G-d’s image. No more needs to be said to you❗️🙏🏻❗️

You're so kind, Clark and you're right! Thank you for this beautiful reminder. And "Run with it" might be a good start to a poem. :)
