Thanks Jules. Some say all sense of the “ineffable” begins with “awe and wonder”. Nothing like an outdoor walk/run in Nature to experience the remarkable and bring one to their knees. A recent New York Times article was discussing how the images and data from the Webb telescope are posing more questions than answers and may cause physicists to re-think many of the paradigms they have counted on over the past century. Ahh, mysteries abound. Awe and wonder rule. Unanswerable questions that make us human and humble.
Reach for the moon...and keep reaching even though it seems out of reach.
Reach for the shine of the moon...and keep trying to hold onto that light even though it slips through the fingers.
Howl at the moon if you must, even though it never speaks back.
Embrace the moon as it is...all of its magic...because this is the only moon we have.
Don't worry if it never responds; just love it as it is...
Jack, beautiful and courageous words! Thank you for sharing.

This line—Powerful.
Thanks, Julie...that entire bit came to my mind in about 3 minutes after reading your poem today - yours was also meaningful and powerful.
How amazing! Isn't it interesting how some words just come rushing in. I'm honored you shared with us.
The moon is an awe inspiring thing.
