One Way

                  One Way

One way to work through worry
On foot—to go wherever
Eyes ahead
either walk or run
whichever I choose
don't stop.
Nothing to distract me
but the Queen Anne's Lace,
Dame's Rocket, and
the bullfrog.
Nothing to consume—
only fresh air, sun on my skin,
and dirt ground beneath me.
My way to calm, curoisty,
connection.
