A heartwarming post from beginning to end, Julie! If I might speculate, Brindsley’s calling you GOAT may have encompassed more than running. Perhaps a macro view of you? Anchor for the family during Real Ballbuster days, team builder for running/writing purposes, eager educator, manifesting your belief and trust in God. To name a few. I can’t wait to hear about your choice of Hallowe’en costume! I almost forgot. I thought your race strategy for the catch up phase was brilliant. Instead of one finish line, catching one runner then the next allowed you to succeed again and again. Hurrah!

Good morning Gary,

I think your speculation may be spot on....I didn't really think about this. Thank you for your kind message and being here. It was great to write with you on Monday.

Oh Halloween! Yes...It may be a return of the Unicorn. LOL

Missed you too! Had been hoping to make it. I’d even set my alarm clock for 3pm instead of 4pm, because our clocks had changed but yours hadn’t yet! I think you change yours over the weekend, though, don’t you? x
