Thank you for the fantastic title ideas for Tuesday’s poem.
Let’s do a poll (I love this feature)—what one do you choose?
If you need a refresher on the poem check it out here.
I was grateful Claudette gave me permission to share her poem from last Friday’s prompt: Today I am (fill in a place, taste, a song…). Enjoy.
By: Claudette Henson (a faithful reader of Run to Write and her Birthday was this week! Join me in wishing Claudette a Happy Birthday.) I am rain Splashing on a window pane Distorting colors, shapes of things I am the shower April brings I land upon The dry, parched earth That sucks me in For all I'm worth Into a root I'm seeping, then And travel up Some winding stem Into a rose, Some nectar, I Am lapped up by A butterfly

Love, love “I am rain”
You have a poet’s vision
Of “interbeing”.
Happy Birthday Claudette! Thich Nhat Hanh , the Buddhist Monk, wrote so beautifully of “interbeing” which you express so beautifully here. Also reminds me of Aldo Leopold’s stunning description of an atom’s journey in his classic book, “Sand County Almanac”. Thank you for sharing your perspective....
A beautiful poem - and happy birthday, Claudette!
Julie, it sounds like you've got a fabulous weekend ahead - have a brilliant time! 🙌
