To run is to be

On a magical journey

When time disappears

And one’s best or craziest ideas arise or the heart, body and mind become one and William Blake’s mystical insights are felt and understood or gravity loosens its hold and we fly like Jonathan Livingston Seagull. For me, an hour or more running in nature changes everything…. Yes, we were “born to run” ….

Isn't this the truth! The movement shakes loose whatever is stuck. That's what I imagine anyways. Thank you Clark. Happy running to you.

Ooooh Julie, I love this post. 😊

Running is like... “The foot bone’s connected to the ankle bone, the ankle bone’s connected to the leg bone, the leg bone’s connected to the knee bone.”

On and on, up to the skull bone! Over time the connectivity has degraded and left me as a walker. Where does roller blading fall on the movement spectrum? Today I walk since my dog is all about moving, running, and playing. My accountability partner! Thanks, Julie, for the impetus to move and play. Grateful.

I'm now humming that song! :) Thank you Gary. I love that you have an accountability partner...go!go!go! :)

Thank you for reading and joining the conversation Gary. I really love hearing from all of you. Yes, keep moving and exploring with movement.

I’m fascinated at your plans for en vivo walking, running, and writing targeted for early March. Are heated pens a thing? I wish you and your fellow writers the best result possible.

I can't run anymore but I can walk, which I do when I am able. Hard getting used to this age of my body and mind! Love your thoughts Julie!!

Freedom. Freedom go where you want and as you are -- fast, slow, tired, energized. It's your own experience of the world around you and yourself. Thank you for this prompt Julie! xo

I love this Linda. Running is like freedom. Yes, free as a bird and I do love seeing the birds as I run. :) Great to see you this morning. Thank you for being here.
