99 % of scientists say we are responsible for Climate Change. From what I can tell, most sentient beings only use what they need. We two legged animals have lost that ethic. We run on greed. Time to re-think everything.
Did you ever read "The Little Prince"? Now that author could teach us many things. I re-read it once a year & will start reading it to the grandchildren. Love that book.
Your sharing this wonderful experience reminded me of a similar experience from childhood. Dad would take us, about an hour before dusk, to observe a beaver lodge on a nearby creek. I remember thinking, “What do they do in there? Do they sleep in beds?” I don’t think I asked Dad.
I wonder today if “Lodge Cams” (like nest cams of eagles) are employed and shared? Short answer, Yes! The opposite of doom scrolling. (-; Thanks, Julie, for this delightful memory jog.
