It will be nice to have a clean floor when they are grown , but then you will be so glad for grandchildren (that's why they are grand!) to make more marvelous messes.

I love hearing about these stuffed animal races. I’ve seen them do this on a shortened version. They really stick with it… nice they can amused themselves for so long. They know all the names!!! How many total?

It's hilarious! I think Delaney has 50 stuffed animals...EEK! And Brindsley might have more. :) Thank you for reading Mom.

We had a horrible house fire when my girls were in kindergarten. They had accumulated so many stuffed animals by that time. The insurance adjuster gave us more money for the scorched stuffies than for all our appliances combined!

That's awful, Claudette. In the house you're in now? I'm so happy to hear they accounted for all the stuffies and I'm glad you all got out safe!

How wonderful to see their imagination and the spirit of supporting mom with her running efforts! Come on out west, Julie. I live about 45 minutes from Auburn - a great respite when you're done. Our home is yours!

Hi Julie B.!

Brindsley and Delaney’s imagination, along with super keen attention to detail, fascinates me! I wonder where they get that? 😁

As I’m the on-call chauffeur, shopper, and husband guy for Beth, as well as meeting attender, there’s a meeting starting at 11:15 this morning in real time that precludes my ZOOM-ing this morning.

As an aside, Beth wore her bright yellow Run To Write t-shirt to a gathering of 3 agencies that all relate to her work as a peer support specialist. Since it’s hard to miss a t-shirt like the RTW one, I got to field questions from folks in attendance. When they asked about the “Run” part, my saying, “Started running, has completed the Boston and NYC marathons, and now has completed two JFK 50 milers”, eyes grew wide and a few mouths agape!” Rightfully so!

And now doing a 100-miler has called to your heart and soul?! While writing a new book? I encourage you to revel in the family getaway in early August. My best to all.

Hi Gary, So great to get your message. Thank you for letting me know, and we missed you today, but come anytime you can make it. I'm so happy to hear Beth loves the shirt and how fun the conversation it creates. :)

I'm currently in research mode about the 100 miler...wondering if there is one that's best for a newbie. Thanks again for the note and have a great week!
