I misread your sketch’s caption as “Do you want to fly?” If wanting to draw a lovely Blue Jay was your desire, there it is! Flying not required.

As I watched the artist in the linked video, I delighted in his self-assured voice tone and brush strokes. To narrate one’s own art activities and methods seems to represent a fluid integration of both left and right hemispheres of the brain. Perhaps a metaphor for living our best lives? In harmony with ourselves and the world around us.

Sharing the narrative of your living I will always appreciate. Indeed, Rejoice!

“Do you want to fly?”

This is more like it... HA! Thank you Gary. I was so excited to draw this yesterday and the step by step instruction was super helpful. I notice I appreciate that as I learn to draw. Perhaps your right on the right and left hemispheres for living out best lives. I never thought of that before...you're on to something.

Have a great day and hope your walk with Izzie is a joyful one.

“This day” is enough

If we can live it deeply

But few know how to…

Oh, to see like William Blake, the world in a grain of sand….yes, Jules you are on your way❗️
