With wind from the North

Pushing sounds to the South

I don’t hear the train at the crossing

So I’ll brighten my face

Lay the whiskers to waste

And finish up with some flossing

Thanks for your invigorating words this morning. And photograph. Long May You Run. (borrowed from a 70’s album by Stephen Stills and Neil Young)

Thanks, Clark. I’m not a wordsmith by any deliberate path. More an artesian well of thoughts and words that just bubble up. Julie’s efforts and positive character seem to activate the well more than usual. A muse??

Whatever the case, you have discovered a “gusher” of life giving water and please keep sprinkling all of us and the world around you which is becoming quite parched.

Walking toward the cold wind, I ask myself, "Why do I do this? I don't have to do this! "

On the way back to school, wind at my back, I say, "Oh. Yes. This is why I do this!"

Silence speaks to me

Listen to that still small voice

It truly matters…

Powerful, Clark! Thank you and a great reminder for me today.

Sometimes I think it’s easier to run and train for a Marathon than to get in touch with that “still small voice”. The modern world has hijacked us. We’re listening to all the wrong sounds…

I think you're right. Practicing this.

I hear you had a successful run and it was worth braving the elements. It always is! XO
