Here is one of my stacks that I will be reading this year.
A few books are re-reads. I find I miss things the first time through and enjoy reading certain books again.
What books are in your stack? I would love to know.
Brain Power
Stacks of books
surround me as I move
through the house.
Present on the counter
end table, and nightstand.
Set out to remind me.
Words to confront, discover
and inspire. Pages folded
over to revisit.
A daily practice to
nourish my mind, body,
and soul.

I read Writing Down the Bones last year and enjoyed it. I always have a to read stack and it never seems to be getting smaller. Waiting to get my copy of Spare as soon as it comes out.
Well, I'm a middle-aged suburban dad and I'm reading Colleen Hoover's "Verity," which my stepdaughter told me is "pretty spicy." But my mother-in-law gave it to me for my birthday, thinking it was a spy/thriller novel or something. I'll let you know how it goes ;)
