My pleasure Julie.

I can’t say where I picked up the quote, but doesn’t it speak of trust and belief? We can do hard things?

HA! It's funny, Amy Grant was one of my favorite singers as a kid. :) She has a beautiful voice.

Praying works for me

Yes, I believe G-d hears All

That is sufficient...

Whether G-d responds or not is way above my pay grade. Just entering the "mystery" of it ALL, works wonders for me whenever all else fails.

Richard Rohr is quite inspiring in his own right.

Thanks for reaching out.

Best, Clark

Thank you, Clark for sharing your beautiful haiku. I've discovered, time and time again, that His timing is faithful.

I have a question Clark…

Is your conversation and prayer with G-d a two way street?

And if so, where/how do you “hear” G-D’s voice?

I believe G-d is within my Soul and if I open my heart and truly listen my Soul guides me.

Thank you for this thought-eliciting response Clark. My first “encounter” of the idea that G-d is inside of us came from reading a book by Richard Rohr — Immortal Diamond, IIRC. It was the right book at the right time for me.

I often find that my soul is able to infer meaning and direction through awareness of things outside of myself, too… synchronicities, signs, nature.

Thank you for joining me in conversation.

Oh awesome! I use to sing it when I was a kid and love how Phil Wickham has revised it. :) It always puts me in a good mood. Thank you for being here with us.

Julie have you considered excerpts or teasers of your new book? I would think that would be effective. I also like using the words teasers : )

Yes, Richard, I plan to do something...teasers sound good. :) I recognize many folks like audio, so I was thinking of reading the book (which I can do on this platform) and inviting readers to support my work through Venmo or "buy me a coffee"... curious if you have any thoughts about this?

I am very interested Julie because I am publishing a book which I will also serialize on Substack. That's my teaser. Every week the teaser says, if ya like this, buy my book. Over and over.

Regarding audio, yes, audio should always be an option for readers. As for monetizing, I'm afraid I know nothing about monetizing, other than offering the book for sale. And probably paywalling past chapters on Substack.

What ya wanna be saying at all times is buymybook buymybook buymybook : )
