Evergreens—
Take to the sky. 
What’s the finest view? 

Lie flat on your back 
Let the snow cradle your
head—Inhale 
then exhale.
Your back and legs 
release their weight
into the cushion 
of snowflakes. 

Your eyes meet
tremendous green,
An oasis available 
to you—a place
for peace, a place
for rejuvenation   
when our hearts 
feel weary.
